Watercolor Workshop: Holiday Art

Celebrate the Holidays in this exciting new watercolor workshop, which will focus on use of transparent and opaque watercolors. The Holiday Light Strand (above) and Holly Berries (below) pictures are both included in this workshop. After the pictures are complete, Beth will be happy to work with anyone interested to organize a visit to Charleston Blueprint to make their own Christmas cards. Anyone with graphic design/computer experience is encouraged to create them on their own.

The Tuesday day class typically breaks for lunch; bring your own or enjoy from one of the many restaurants close by.

Workshop fee:  $60, all inclusive; Beth provides the materials. Or $40, you purchase your own from Beth’s list of recommended supplies. Registration is required for all workshops.

Meet Beth Loflin

Beth Loflin is Charleston area watercolor artist. She has been a landscape designer for over 25 years, but has always been passionate about painting and sharing her joy of art, visit us. She has actively instructed painting classes for over 10 years. Beth’s philosophy is to create and nurture art within each attendee, building upon each class so artists can enjoy and understand watercolor painting

Beth has studied under several well-known artists, including Betty Warner, Victor Beltran, Bill Perry, Bill Vrscak, and Tom McNickle. Her paintings can be viewed at Petit Jewelry and Lola’s Pizza in Charleston.

We’re excited to have her teaching watercolor lessons at Capitol Clay Arts Company.
